Royals give rural HiPoint a lift

A visit by Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall explains why our web page about a tiny rural church ...

got so much attention yesterday. St Beuno's Church at Pistyll, on the Llŷn Peninsula, is so remote that our page telling its story normally gets only a few hits each week, but yesterday it got 47. That was also the day the Prince of Wales and his wife called in there, along with their entourage and media. We hope that our information about the church and the grave of Maigret actor Rupert Davies was useful to the visitors and journalists, and that it helped to raise awareness of the Wales Coast Path and North Wales Pilgrim's Way, both of which pass the church. To read the story, scan the QR codes on the waymarker post outside the church, or click here.
