Not much RIP for T Jones, Llantysilio

The coffin of Thomas Jones, of Llantysilio Hall, near Llangollen, was opened one night by people who hoped to find his will inside. He had died in 1820 without a direct descendant ...

to inherit his wealth. The would-be tomb raiders were later convicted. A similar offence was foiled in 1915, when various people were trying to prove their claim to the "Pritchard millions".
