Polymaths raised on remote farm

The Morris brothers of Anglesey were renowned in the 18th century for their multi-skilling, despite having grown up on a remote farm. Their father was a cooper ...

and farmer. His sons held important official posts, were consulted on medical and business matters, wrote poetry and music and established a long-lasting society for Welsh people living in London. Hundreds of the letters they wrote to each other have survived, providing a unique insight into Welsh life at the time.
