Chapel at the roots of the Revival

Wales 110 years ago was gripped by a religious Revival which spread to five continents, and it all began when a former miner and blacksmith from Loughor, near ...

Swansea, felt a powerful urge to spread the word of God. Evan Roberts held the first meeting of what became the Revival at his local chapel, Moriah. Later meetings there sometimes lasted until the small hours. The Revival converted an estimated 100,000 residents of Wales to Christianity.
