Canadian war graves explained

The rural setting of St Margaret's Church, Bodelwyddan, isn't where you'd expect to find more than 80 war graves ...

and it's even more puzzling to visitors that almost all the graves are those of Canadians. There's no information board at the site to help, but now HistoryPoints has placed QR codes beside the layby where cars and coaches park. Scan the codes with your phone or tablet and you'll receive a concise account of why so many Canadians were buried there in 1918-19. You can also download details of the war dead, such as rank, regiment and next of kin. The information is also available here. Francais ici
