- Harold Godfrey Lowe (d.1944) – hero of the RMS Titanic sinking
- Alvin Langdon Coburn (d.1966) – American photography pioneer who settled in Wales
- Will Catlin (d. 1953) – famed for his troupe of Pierrot clowns
- Hargreaves Bolton family – lost three sons in the First World War
- Thomas George Osborn (d. 1910) – founding headmaster of Rydal School
- William Venables Williams (d.1893) – local vicar, caught up in tithe wars
- Jules Prudence Riviere (d.1900) – Frenchman who founded a popular Llandudno orchestra
- Jane Crump (d.1882) – vicarage servant for over 50 years
