Hiraethog buildings

Hiraethog is the upland area east of Snowdonia. Buildings of interest in the area include St Mary Magdalen’s Church in Cerrigydrudion, mentioned in 13th-century tax records. Legend has it that the devil was once dragged from the churchyard by giant oxen.

Pentrefoelas church was designed by the celebrated Victorian architect Sir George Gilbert Scott.
