Wrexham's towering Wonder

The great tower of St Giles' Church, Wrexham, is still an imposing landmark today, but as it's nearly 500 years old ...

it's easy to understand why it was regarded as one of the Seven Wonders of Wales. Parts of the church are even older, and were probably financed by the mother of Henry Tudor, founder of the Tudor dynasty. Near the foot of the tower is the tomb of Elihu Yale, the benefactor of Yale University in the USA. To read more about the church's rich history, scan the HistoryPoints QR codes outside. Or click here
