Cardiff's avenue of 'smelly trees'
Park. Behind Cardiff Castle is a lane flanked by ginkgo trees, whose leaves have a distinctive shape and turn an attractive yellow in autumn. Less appealing is the ginkgo's fruit, which smells like vomit - hence ginkgo's nickname the 'smelly tree'.
