Swansea, felt a powerful urge to spread the word of God. Evan Roberts held the first meeting of what became the Revival at his local chapel, Moriah. Later meetings there sometimes lasted until the small hours. The Revival converted an estimated 100,000 residents of Wales to Christianity.
