Railway history on the spot

When we launched HistoryPoints in 2012, we installed QR codes by the ground-breaking Tubular Bridge in Conwy and the site of the world's first locomotive water troughs, near Colwyn Bay. Since then we've featured over 140 stories ...

relating to railway history in Wales, and now we've listed them all on this web page, with links to each relevant HiPoint page (accessible directly by scanning QR codes with your mobile). When you've read the story, simply click on the "Railway history" badge in the top left corner to return to the listing page. There are separate categories for the existing main lines, for preserved railways and objects, and for repurposed or vanished stations, industrial tramroads and railways. There's at least one featured location in each of Wales' 22 counties.
