Towyn floods illustrated

Hundreds of people have read our information about the 1990 tidal flood at Towyn since we placed QR codes on the sea wall near the funfair in 2012. Now we've updated our web page about the sea defences with photos of the floodwater ...

and the damaged sea wall, thanks to Conwy Archive Service. To see the information and photos, scan the QR codes with your smartphone as you walk along the coast path, or click here. We've also added an aerial photo of the floods to our page about St Mary's Church, Towyn. The church was damaged by the water.
