Triumph and tragedy at Pendine

The racing car Babs, once holder of the world land-speed record, is the centrepiece of the Museum of Speed ...

in Pendine, Carmarthenshire. For half the year the museum is closed, but now there are HistoryPoints QR codes in the windows. Anyone walking past on the Wales Coast Path, at any time, can scan the QRs to read how the car was acquired, improved and driven by JG Parry-Thomas, and was later buried, exhumed and rebuilt.
