Audio histories on your smartphone

You’ll find audio readings of the texts on a growing number of HistoryPoints web pages. We’re adding more so that people with visual impairments can enjoy the same on-the-spot access to historical information as people who can read the written texts.

Use the list below to find web pages which have an audio reading. The * shows where a Welsh reading is also available.

In addition, we also have pages where videos provide the historical information in audio readings and British Sign Language – part of our History for All accessibility project. Click here for details of History for All and the web pages featured so far.

The audio readings are kindly provided by volunteer readers and RNIB. Please contact us via the feedback form if you could help to provide readings.
