This memorial was unveiled in November 1925 to commemorate the people with connections to the Bedlinog area who died on active service in the First World War. Names of those who died in the Second World War were added later. For their details, choose a category below.
Among those named is Herbert Edwin Hocking, who was involved in both wars. He enlisted in 1917 and was killed, while serving with the Royal Marines, in 1941.
One local man was killed on active service in Cyprus in 1956. He is not named on the war memorial but his details are shown below.
