- Hephzibah Williams (d.1824) – lived in Plas Mawr, the grand Tudor town house
- Hugh Griffith (d.1865) – missing and wrongly presumed dead
- Richard Edwards (d.1806) – Conwy ferry disaster victim
- Table grave of Jones family (c.1847) – commemorates five babies
- Thomas Foulkes (d.1847) – Battle of Waterloo veteran
- John Jones (d.1865) – ship’s captain, pub landlord and Colwyn station master
- Griffith Owen (d.1860) – seaman on ship which defeated France’s flagship at Trafalgar
- Abraham Mills (d. 1828) – geologist who wrote a science paper on the disovery of Irish gold
- Thomas Roberts (d.1856) – poet, headmaster and pub landlord
- Elizabeth Holland (d.1850) – three poets wrote poems of tribute for her
- Hugh Davies Jones (d.1868) – surgeon to Indian Viceroy's bodyguard and Bengal Cavalry
- Mary and William Thomas (d.1874 & 1892) – workhouse’s first matron and master
