Tywyn & District History Society

The Tywyn & District History Society was founded in April 2018. It promotes interest in the study of history, with an emphasis on local and Welsh topics. It also records and presents information about the history of the area between the Dyfi and the Mawddach. It has created the Tywyn Town Trail, featuring leaflets and six information boards at locations around Tywyn.

The society holds monthly meetings at Tywyn Baptist Church. Non-members are welcome to attend. It also organises trips to places of interest.

Membership and other details are avialable from the society's website: https://tywynanddistricthistorysociety.co.uk
