Breconshire Local and Family History Society

Breconshire Local and Family History Society

The society was formed in 2011 to nurture interest in the heritage of Brecon and Breconshire. It holds meetings on a range of subjects, normally starting at 2pm on the first Tuesday of the month at Brecon Library.

It also publishes a monthly newsletter, and its website has many resources and articles about local history. Members have access to further online information and research resources, including transcriptions of parish records, monumental inscriptions and maps.

Contact details are available at the Breconshire Local and Family History Society website.
