- Jones, Evan, Private 40686. Died 20/09/1917 aged 20. York and Lancaster Regiment. Tyne Cot Memorial. Son of William and Jane Jones of Tan-y-Garth.
- Jones, M. Probably: Moses Llewellyn Jones, Lance Corporal 39686. Died 27/08/1917 aged 32. South Wales Borderers. Tyne Cot Memorial. Son of John Jones of Helig; husband of Mary J Jones of Frondirion, Garndolbenmaen.
- Oliver, Thomas Alfred, Captain. Died 14/08/1917. Royal Flying Corps. Arras Flying Services Memorial. His father was a landscape artist, who kept an aircraft propellor in his Capel Curig studio as a memorial to Thomas Alfred. Father and son are commemorated at the family grave in St Julitta’s churchyard.

Son of Thomas Henry Hughes and of Elizabeth Hughes of Capel Curig; husband of Eulfwyn Hughes of Brynsiencyn, Anglesey. Not named on Capel Curig war memorial.
