Agorwyd y Neuadd Goffa yn 1929, ar safle lle y safai yr Ysgol Genedlaethol gynt. Mae bwrdd pren ar un o’r waliau y tu mewn yn rhestru'r dynion lleol a fu farw yn y Rhyfel Byd Cyntaf. Mae'r rhagair yn darllen: “In grateful recognition of the men from this district who fell in the Great War 1914-1919.”  Ar ôl y rhestr o enwau, mae’r geiriau: “Let those who come after see to it that their names be not forgotten.”

Mae bwrdd arall yn rhestru yri gyn ac un ddynes a fu farw yn yr Ail Ryfel Byd. Rhagair: “In grateful recognition of those from this district who laid down their lives in the war 1939-1945.” Ôl-nodyn: “Greater love hath no man than this: That a man lay down his life for his friends.”
