Married Claudia in 1915 at the Welsh Baptist Chapel, Old Colwyn. Her parents lived at Cleveland, Coed Coch Road. The couple lost their baby son Leonard in 1917, three months before Archibald went to France. Died in Forsbach Reserve Hospital, probably of flu.
